Spoiler: Ending of Season 2

The fact that the "Zero Requiem" was such an awesome plan is just totally awesome! I have never hated a character so much only to have him become my favorite int he last 3 minutes of the last episode! OMG and I love the fate of the Damocles system, heh, that was awesome as well. Orange's fate was similarly amusing as well. I am totally impressed and floored by it.

I hope we get to the see the last episode on Adult Swim here in the states, it would be a shame to miss out on it.

Well considering i saw where it was completely off of the schedule this past Saturday that is probably not likely. It didnt even last 2 weeks at the 5AM death slot. Very sad what they did to a very good anime.

This past Saturday was a 'viewer's choice' night, with the schedule having been selected by a viewer who won [a contest I think]. It will air again this weekend....@ 5am EST.

Orange was so underused after episode 13. but at least he got a nice end (with Anya? I was hoping for Sayako)

Yeah, i really just couldn't get into R2 like I could with the first season. While the ending was cool and it had some awesome parts through out, there were some other sections were I felt like the show had jumped the shark. The show could definitely had done without alot of the crap in the middle of the season, just like the first season could have done without the Mao arc.

I read the director had to originally abandon most of his plans for the second season b/c they changed the time slot on him. From what Ive gathered from general consensus on forums it seemed a lot of time was wasted in the beginning of the season(was Rolo really necessary?) & they were forced to do a rush job in the final episodes.
