Lego Jurassic World

I preordered my copy from GameStop to get the store exclusive playset. Picked it up durin' my lunch break last Friday, and cracked it open Monday evenin'.

I've already finished the story levels for Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and have run around in free play a bit, too.

27.9% of the game is complete!

I told my nephew I wouldn't play the story levels for Jurassic World 'til after I see the movie, to keep from bein' spoiled. He asked if that meant I wouldn't finish the game 'til the movie is out on DVD.

Harsh.

Anyone else play Lego games? Or this one in particular?

The game does look very cute, as is the case for most Lego games I've seen.

The only Lego game I've played is Lego Star Wars which had the Prequel and Original Trilogies. Funny stuff.

As the OH put it: "Can we play an actual video game now?" (Needless to say I'm marrying that woman.)

A buddy of mine thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread, but his fiancé doesn't have... refined tastes.

Playin' the story levels for Jurassic Park III now, just unlocked the "Do-You-Think-He-Saurus?" achievement (sneak past a dinosaur using camoflauge).

This game is okay, so far, just takes forever to get from one place to another in free play.

The LEGO games are fun for a little while but quickly become repetitive. I find that they're better played in brief spurts.

If ya could see my xbox 360 gamer profile, ya would see the only games I've completed to 100% are Lego games.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean
Lego Batman
Lego Batman 2
Lego Batman 3
Lego The Hobbit

Still workin' on the Lego games for Indiana Jones (the first & second), Jurassic Park, Lego the Movie, Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and the Lord of the Rings, though I did finish that one to 100% on the Wii a couple of years ago.

I've lost interest in the Lego games. They're all getting so redundant.

I thought that until the LEGO games had the best gameplay mechanics for Superman, Iron Man, and Spider-Man that I'd ever experienced.

I find them enjoyable and different enough between licenses to keep my interest.

Sadly, multiple reports say the PC version of this is as broken as Batman: Arkham Knight. Keeps crashing randomly to desktop without warning or explanation, corrupts game save files forcing you to start over, and won't progress at all past certain points, such as the Spinosaurus level of Jurassic Park III.

That's a shame... :(

I added Jimmy Fallon, Steven Spielberg & Mr. D.N.A. to my playable characters last night. Spielberg can target & throw Oscar trophies!
