Legend of The Guardians : The Owls of Ga Hoole

This movie looked cool the first time I saw the trailer, but, after finding out that it's based on a book series and seeing the second trailer, my interest level's gone up even more than it was before. I like to try and wait to see animated movies with my girlfriend, since she loves this kind of stuff, but this is one film that I'm gonna go see with or without her just because it looks so frakkin awesome.

Oh, believe me, seeing this trailer in 3D on the big screen will leave you BREATHLESS. I admit I actually shed a tear or two.

Yeah. I thought the concept seemed a touch stupid (although I'm warming up a touch when I found out it was a children's series), but damn did it look cool.

I love the visuals from the trailer, already. I like the whole Arthurian touches, and I have yet to see a 3D movie, so I may make this my first.

I'm surprised they haven't just made a Red Wall movie yet. I guess Owls are more popular than Mice, though.

Or for Fantasy in general, I'd love to see a modern live-action take on the Book of Three series, but I doubt that will happen (especially because, in order to be faithful, you have to wait until the second book before anything kickass happens).

I went and saw this movie today. Unfortunately I let my best friend persuade me into seeing it in 2D. She has been getting fed up with 3D movies and, after the last couple of 3D movies I went to I can understand that.

After watching the movie both of us agreed that this was one movie we should have seen in 3D. It was very good movie in 2D but I think that in 3D it would be excellent.

In 2D I give the movie 8/10.

I loved the Aussie accents and the Aussie animals.

I saw it.... But, I'm jaded.... I enjoy anami... so I thoroughly enjoyed it....
even at 51 I still enjoy cartoons....
