I haven't seen a thread or anything about this anime here, so I decided to start my own. It's a little known OVA series and happens to be the greatest space opera ever made (IMHO). Its impossible to find legally in the US as it's never been licensed outside of Japan, but if you can find torrents it is really worth seeing. Its rare to find a space epic that has actual intelligence behind it these days, but LOGH manages to be brilliant, suspensful, and highly entertaining. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.

I've heard some great things about this show and it has been on my to do list for a while now, but I have yet to watch it. I'll get to it eventually though.

Within the last several months I acquired all 110+- of the main series... Someday I'd like to attack it, but the task is so daunting.

Were the side stories/movies of the rest of the series available out there somewhere bundled together for easy access?

Well I watched two of the films and all the Yang story parts of season 1 and the second prequel ova and liked what I saw. Nice mix of comedy and seriousness and it isn't all moody and depressing like some of the Mecha Animes I tried watching recently.

There are some torrent sites that have the movies and side stories available, but I'm not sure it would be allowed to offer a link here.
