I'm glad they're not reusing the horrible packaging that the first two (and fourteenth) season sets had. Fold-out DVD boxes are definitely a bag of hurt...
I am definitely picking up a copy of this. The mothership was always my favorite L&O series, and this will be worth it. Hopefully a Criminal Intent set will come soon.
(This being Universal, I doubt it would be realistic to hope for a Blu-Ray release)

My copy arrived today. The five-disc cases aren't great (they have overlapping discs unlike the six-disc cases and the one four-disc case), but it'll serve. Better than digipaks, I think. 
As assumed (or announced?) previously-released seasons are exactly the same content as before, down to season 14 still being 4:3. Season 9 does indeed include the Homicide crossover, but on the wrong disc. No Exiled, though - I guess I need to order a copy from the UK.

Are *all* the Homicide crossovers included or just the season 9 one?
It's a shame, because the first season on Netflix looks amazing in HD.
All three are included - the first two fall under the "they're the same disc content as what we got before" clause.
And what about the SVU (Entitled) and TBJ (Skeleton) episodes?

They're not mentioned in the booklet, and they're not on the discs with their respective mothership episodes, so my assumption is "no, they're not present".
(Though by that "they're already out" logic, the Homicide crossovers don't matter either.

Okay, so I went to order this product from Amazon and find that they have yanked it off the shelves. They won't say exactly why, but I got the impression that there was a product defect of some kind. None of the reviews mention such a thing, and I haven't found any more info on the 'net about this. Anybody else know what's going on? 
Not a clue. As an owner who hasn't noticed a problem yet, I'm worried...Anybody else know what's going on?
Universal's own listing for this product now mentions a November 28th release date. They don't have any other information on the delay.
Never mind. Amazon has it back up again. So I guess there was never a big problem.
