I never thought I'd say this, but it's unfortunate that Nicole Wallace is already dead. She and Goren should have killed each other.

Haha, yes that wold have been a very fitting end for him. Thought they did a good job though with the end they gave him, still sad to see Goren and Eames done but I'm glad the show is continuing how it is.

As much as I was looking forward to the Goldblum era, the first episode with his character (and Burrows' character) was mediocre, IMO....

I generally respect the L&O brand, but I'm totally indifferent to CI. Each week, a wildly convoluted murder? Murders every single episode? That both depresses and bores me. It's why SVU is far and away my favorite of the three, because you never know quite what you're going to get; sometimes murders are only incidental to the story, and sometimes (I believe) there aren't any at all.

They never did say what happened to Wheeler. AFAIK, the last episode she appeared in, she was about to give birth, so she's probably on maternity leave.

I believe it was eluded to that she went to Britain, to be with the father of her child.

The father of her child is in prison. They caught him a couple of years ago. Something to do with insider trading or some other financial shenanigans.

Fun fact: The actor who played her onscreen boyfriend/fiancé is Julianne Nicholson's real life husband.
