I was just wondering that myself. If you go to the actual image address it says "URL signature expired". How are you hosting the images? I'm guessing there must be a time limit.
I posted the images directly on Facebook and then used the image link from Facebook. They're still posted there, by the way.
Ahh, it's a Facebook security thing. The URL of the image changes after a while, so you would have to edit the post and link the same image again from Facebook to fix it. But then it will stop working again at some point. The better solution is to use an image hosting site like Imgur
Ah that's better! Starship 5 looks like the old Button Moon rocket has finally become warp capable https://secure.i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02566/BUTTONMOON_2566225b.jpg
I'm intrigued by Starship10 - the blue sphere held in the cradle. Mr Spoon (or should that be Captain Spoon) and his intrepid crew off to save the galaxy as we know it in a starship that smells faintly of baked beans...
I think @DanGovier is correct, Facebook does not seem to want other sites (like the TrekBBS) to use images hosted on their webspace. The best option would be to upload your images to an image hosting site or your own paid-for webspace.
You can see them here, as I've said. https://lacyntrek.weebly.com/starships.html They're still in the order I originally posted them in, too.
These will be going up on Weebly as soon as I can get the edit page to load. In the mean time, enjoy...
My entry for the September art contest. (See here for details) https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/lauras-art-challenge-entries.294512/
Some cutout hole give this a kind of sled-like appearance. It's almost an optical illusion...I imagine it looks the same on the far side... A lighter craft, perhaps a shuttle.
More Star Trek starships should have sails/wings! Either for solar energy/particle collection, or as a method of propulsion. I also like the pyramid on the saucer section - perhaps a Star Trek/Gate mash-up? The little oval pod is cool, too.
