Nah, I wasn't thinking of Stargate. Never seen, only heard of.

Ah, well, Stargate or no, I like your pyramid-topped saucer. It looks majestic and a little bit intimidating, maybe (a big ship, by the look of it)?
Had you thought much about the sails' function? Do they move or spread out?

Truth? I just thought they looked cool. I suppose they could move and collect solar energy, or be used to transmit long-range communications.

This one kind of has sails or wings...

Another round very pod like saucer.

    Experimenting with the undercarriage shapes...

I used a black background to show the blank space in between components.

You need to figure out how the blue ring connects to the grey one, and show it from the side (or top if that is the side).

That is the top view. The blue ring is free floating, or perhaps held by invisible (technobabble) energy.

Spindly or non-existent supports/pylons/connections pretty much always imply futuristic tech to me - I like the free-floating ring. Have you any thoughts as to what it is? Part of the drive, perhaps? Or power plant?

Nah. The drive is supposed to be at the back. I suppose it could be an energy generator for some other function. Maybe futuristic scanning equipment?

(Anything black that isn't an outline is blank space.)
