Latest acquisition!

A regular CD holds ~80 minutes of recorded sound at the most.

An MP3 CD holds a lot more.

These are regular CDs.
That's all, I thought they held a lot more than that. I did listen to CDs quite a bit before digital, but I honestly never played that much attention to how long they were. I thought they held two or three each.

You realize CD’s are digital?

I never thought I'd read another Trek book, except for the "stitch in time" one I am interested in, but due to the current sitution, I've ordered Avatar 1+2. Of course, delivery might take a while these days... Plus I should probably wait until I've finished my DS9 watch, but here I am. Looking forward to reading it and will probably also get the "Stitch" eBook..

I’ve been lurking around for about a year but never posted. This came yesterday and I’m stoked enough to break my silence!

What he means is mp3 on CDs - which can contain an entire novel on a CD. Yes, you're correct that CDs are digital, but digital these days is used to mean downloadable onto a computer - mp3s rather than audio CDs that you can play in a CD player.
You can always rip a CD to computer. It’s not like ripping a vinyl record.

Hey, I got a messge today that the books I ordered are already on their way... I'm impressed, what with Sunday and quarantines and all...

Yeah, I meant digital download. I was going to say MP3, but I wasn't sure if modern digital downloadable music from places like Google or Amazon were still MP3s or if it was a different format.

Musical Touch of Leonard Nimoy
by Ian McLean, on Flickr

So busy social distancing yesterday, I never even looked out the front door - and there had been a parcel waiting for me on the doorstep. “The Musical Touch of Leonard Nimoy: His Fascinating Musical Career and Discography” by Darlene & Joe Lacey (Diner Mighty Graphics, 2019). Looks like fun. I think I have most of his discography in my collection.

Is there new content in that, or is it just a collection of their Voyager Star Trek Magazine articles?

97pp.

From Amazon feedback, it seems to consist of one new interview (Kate Mulgrew?), and retro Titan magazine info and pics from across the years.
