was because Gregory Peck’s character gets back with Dorothy McGuire’s which totally defeats the whole point of the movie (she was literally a stand in for the audience so them getting back together is like “you can be passively antisemitic as long as you know it’s wrong”??? like what???

Back in The Dark Ages, when I was a kid, my sister and I would watch "Murder By Death" over and over. It was of the few movies in rotation on Showtime-- back when cable was a big, black box on top of the TV, with an enticing big, red button on top .
I don't recall seeing a cable box like that. What did the button do?
It gave you one movie station. For us, it was Showtime. You set the TV to channel 3 and it the button.
"The Three Musketeers" (1993) and still has one of the best credits songs in history, as well as a good movie overall.
