Last movie you saw?

It's shit, isn't it?
the film… yeah it is. But i love Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds so.. MAN I THOUGHT IT WAS A ROM COM AND IT WAS 2 HOURS OF STUFF FOR NOTHING (like how i have to ignore the ending of Gentlemen’s Agreement for the sake of sanity)

I have the same attitude towards Chances Are.

A man is reincarnated AS HIS OWN DAUGHTER'S BOYFRIEND? In what universe is that not creepy as shit? :wtf: :barf:
omg ugh this has reminded me of “17 again”
when that girl ends up having a massive crush on her DAD …like let’s NOT do that to fill whatever executives creepy fantasy

my reason for Gentlemen’s Agreement
was because Gregory Peck’s character gets back with Dorothy McGuire’s which totally defeats the whole point of the movie (she was literally a stand in for the audience so them getting back together is like “you can be passively antisemitic as long as you know it’s wrong”??? like what???

His soul, minus his memories, was reincarnated in another body. As soon as he started to remember his previous life he was hands off with Miranda until his memories were fully removed.

The 400 Blows. A classic of French New Wave cinema. Excellent, especially for its lack of treacly sentimentality.

Wonka via MAX. Was reasonably entertained. Fluff piece, easily forgotten, but the music and choreography was fun. 7/10

We were in a Dumb Comedy mood on Saturday and watched Murder By Death and The Cheap Detective.

Back in The Dark Ages, when I was a kid, my sister and I would watch "Murder By Death" over and over. It was of the few movies in rotation on Showtime-- back when cable was a big, black box on top of the TV, with an enticing big, red button on top .
