Last movie you saw?

Watched The King's Man for the first time on HBOMax today, I really enjoyed it.

Masters of the Universe, 1987.
Surprised I had never seen this one as my best friend's younger brother was a big fan back in the day...

Men of Honor. Faster than I remembered it being, but still a good story. Still saddens me the garbage that Master Chief Brashear, and other minorities, had to endure. No, I know it's not complete past, but some of that just is appalling.

The new All Quiet on the Western Front. It deserves every Oscar nomination it received.

I watched the Disney animated Hercules last week. I think it's one of their more underrated movies, it's a lot fun. I've started a bit Disney Animation rewatch on Disney+, since I haven't watched a lot of them since I was a kid. I was going through in some of the live action adaptations as I go along too.

I watched Brother Bear Sunday morning. I think had only seen it once before, when it first came out in theaters back in 2003. It was pretty good, not an absolute classic, but I really enjoyed it.

When I mentioned to someone last year that I hadn't seen any of the Jurassic Park movies other than the first one, their response was "You haven't seen Jurassic Park III?!?" Which lead me to believe that Jurassic Park III was some kind of supreme pinnacle of amazing Jurassic Park-ness.

I saw Jurassic Park III this weekend. I couldn't help but be disappointed.

JPIII is rubbish and was the worst one until Dominion came along. It seemed to me its premise was to go through the set pieces in the books that hadn’t been done yet and loosely hang a plot off of those.

I watched the first half of Gorillas in the Mist this morning, it's been really good so far. I only stopped because I got to the time I go on my morning bike ride, and after that decided to just finish it tomorrow morning.

Just watched Batman Returns. Despite feeling a lot of childhood nostalgia towards it, there's some genuinely great writing in this movie. "I was their first-born child, but they treated me like number two", "I mistook me for somebody else", some really great lines. And the best damn score and theme song of any Batman movie.
