Rewatched and mostly enjoyed Bicentennial Man, a quite good film, then I was surprised and disappointed to learn that Robin Williams and kind of Chris Columbus regretted that they made it.
Tried to watch Army of Thieves but I feel asleep half way through. It wasn't boring, but it wasn't anything special either. I'll finish it when I feel like it.
The Steel Helmet (1951)
Decent Sam Fuller movie and, apparently, the first film made about the Korean War (and made while the war was still actively occurring).
I've been watching a lot of older movies on Amazon Prime that I've either not seen in years or missed the first time around. The other night it was "Motel Hell" and it fell into the latter category. Pure 80's style cheese. Guess I can see why it's supposedly a cult classic.
Finally got around to watching this last night on Disney+. Was better than I expected. Fight sequences were AMAZING. Was really enjoying it up to the point it turning into a Godzilla movie. But that being said, totally fun popcorn romp and good MCU installment. Will watch the sequel... 7.5/10
The last movie I saw was Enchanted, the day it was finally put on Disney+. I would like to see a few more movies before the year is out, but the issue with the pandemic is I really don't follow what is coming into theaters anymore. What are some good award season movies people are watching? I also want to see Shang-Chi and Spider Man when it comes out.
The Power of the Dog on Netflix. More like The Power of Boredom. Supposedly up for an Oscar, and I didn't realize this before watching. It's got a great cast of Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, and Jesse Plemons, but they all feel wasted with the material.
