Nah. A good script makes up for any lack in production values. Besides, I loved the stop-motion dinosaurs (which were not made of clay). The smart, serious adventure was often belied by the clay dinosaurs, non-existant budget and bad acting.

In addition to what I said above, I'll say that part of the reason I wanted to see a Land of the Lost movie was to hopefully enjoy the same sort of smart, serious adventure, but this time with real-looking dinosaurs, a large budget, and good acting. The smart, serious adventure was often belied by the clay dinosaurs, non-existant budget and bad acting.
Eh... I think I'll pass. Looks good overall, except for Will Farrell.
Can't stand a guy who thinks he's funny, but isn't. *barficon*

I am the only person in the world who is psyched about seeing this flick...
LAND OF THE LOST Superbowl spot
I know what you all are going to say.... but I think it's great that they are staying true to the great designs of the show while replacing the gawd awful lame-o characters.
Damn, those Sleestak look good.
Art edits life. If it imitated life there'd be no T Rexes, huh?I can tell you don't have kids...

But damnit, I just can't get past the urge the punch Will Ferrell right in the face every time he's onscreen.
