I remember when I hadn't watched TOS for many years.. it wasn't on tv here and the internet was relatively new (to me anyway). I bought the videos on ebay (such a BIG BOX them came in ). I was nostalgically fond of Captain Kirk because he had been my first man crush ever. I idly wondered how I would find him now so many years out of childhood.

And.. OMFG he was hotter than I had ever EVER noticed. He was.. the Captain. I remember being just shocked that this wasn't some "oh wasn't that cute" crush I was revisiting.

I like a lot of Star Trek people, men and women, aliens and humans.. but Kirk has some sexy energy going. Ladies man, YES and more than that. There is something uniquely special about him.
