Thanks, SalvorHardin... they're great! The boys seem to have on quite a bit of makeup in some of the promo shots, don't they? Either that, or weird airbrushing...

Thos pics made me worried at the time, they just looked weird and very artificial. Spock in particular - I was so worried what Zach would look like in the movie, if that's the makeup they gave him! But fortunately, when I finally saw the movie, he looked great! It was just all the airbrushing.

I agree! I think they make him look a lot younger and feminine, almost. He looks a bit older and more masculine in the movie (though not exactly in a rugged way). While the promo shots are interesting, I'm also glad his look is different in the movie itself.

After my second viewing last night I still think Spock is sexier, but Kirk played by Pine is a thing of beauty.
