Klingons

USS Excelsior

Commodore
Commodore
If there are Klingons in this film will they be shown with the retrolook as in TOS or the modern version.

I suppose they could have both at the same time and it wouldn't really matter.

If there are Klingons, which I sincerely doubt there will be, they will be bumpy-headed Klingons. Count on it.

Somewhere in between. Still recognizable as Klingons but more subdued.

I know this is a silly point in the grand scheme of things (like real life, for example) but with the (ducks for cover ) explanation in the last season of Enterprise, wouldn't a mixture of smooth heads and bumpy heads (or either one or the other exclusively) be expected?

As a fan of ENT's later seasons, I'd like to see smooth-headed Klingons, but I won't freak out if they're ridged.

I agree they should have a mix of ridged and smooth.
Also, the TOS Klingon uniforms should be retconned to be for smooth-headed Klings only. Like they are regarded as a kind of second-class warriors, allowed to wear the sash, but not to wear the full armor.

I think they should be smooth headed Klingons but I won't freak out if they're ridge headed.

The subdued ridges seen in The Undiscovered Country, especially the Chang look. Perhaps some severe piercings to add variety to the 'bolted to the skull' eye patch.

Although personally, I'd prefer Klingons not be in this film at all. Drop hints or reference them in some way but leave Trek's overexposed race 'til next time...

I would hope they only mention them... but Kirk mispronounces it as "Klingott" a lot.

Really though, save them for Trek XIII.
