"Klingons vs The Federation" = Mundane

^^^
IDK - I've always thought 1977's "A Bridge Too Far" was a WWII movie that really didn't show the Allies 'winning' (Yes, if you know history, you know how the war in Europe ultimately turned out) - but I wouldn't call what they showed in that film 'a win'. ;)
Or, a more timely example would be the film Dunkirk. Even though the loss of life could have been much greater than it was, and the Brits could feel at least some consolation in that, Churchill put it more realistically when he famously said:
"We must be very careful not to assign to this the attributes of a victory. Wars are not won by evacuations".

The fact is that Germans saw Dunkirk as a huge victory for them -- and rightly so -- while the Brits were simply celebrating the fact that they lost only 30,000 men rather that 400,000.

Looks more like a Centauri to me.

Oh please. It's CLEARLY a cloaked Romulan. ;)

Originally I was not interested in Klingons for DSC, but after having seen them, the new fresh take on them, and changing them from animals obsessed with honor to more developed characters, I'm actually very excited.

For the same reason that I wouldn't get overly excited about a new series about the Borg because we've already been there in Voyager or the Dominion in Deep Space Nine. The Klingon vs The Federation thing has already been done within the original series, DS9 season 4, TNG "Yesterday's Enterprise", "All Good Things", among other places. Hopefully the series won't focus on that. Does anyone else feel the same way? why or why not?
