Klingons In The Mirror Universe

Spock's Barber

In Mirror, Mirror the Federation is an evil empire full of nasty people. So, extrapolating further like Spock would do, would the Klingons in the mirror universe be good guys who brush their teeth, drink their milk and say their prayers before going to bed?

I guess the Klingon Empire doesn't spend a lot of time on dental hygiene.

Generally speaking, Mirror Klingons are the same as their counterparts in the regular universe. As are most other races.

The only race that's different is humanity.
Exactly. The Halkans are pretty much the same in both universes, just more beleaguered and haggard in the MU. That's the clue that the Federation/Empire is the big variable.

I can see the Empire either in alliance with the Klingons or trying to wipe them out.
The Klingons probably look good in the "Mirror Universe: in contrast with humans.

I'd say the Klingons were a little disorganized compared to their TOS counterparts in the Mirror universe but probably just as mean! But if we're only talking about TOS here and not DS9s Mirror episodes then how do we know that the Empire hadn't already enslaved or destroyed them?

Particularly since the Empire seems to have taken some cues from them in military protocol, costume and ship design! I like the Terran conquerors theory.

Based on how the Halkans were represented, I always figured it was humanity that was the only real change.

ENT mirror universe mentioned differences going back to at least Shakespearean times, so late sixteenth century.
