DS9 is such a stupid show, just look at the characters that don't make sense. Sisko is first all, this Emissary business is weird, then he's totally into the Prophets. Kira first hates Cardassians, then she becomes BFF with some of them, then in the end she's fighting alongside some Cardies to free Cardassia?! Nog is a thief, then he joins Starfleet?! Why is Bashir not naive and annoying in season 7 as he was in season 1? How am I supposed to follow a show with characters that change all the time?! In good shows, everyone stays the same all the time, in those really good ones they have the same ranks for 7 years, now that's character consistency for you.
And DS9 was such a total soap - eww. They had those totally soapy storylines, like people having relationships that last not just over multiple episodes, but multiple seasons?! In real SF shows, characters find their true love, lose it and get over it in the space of one episode, everyone knows that's how it's done, not dragging it on and on. Except if it's just sexual tension that lasts for years but goes nowhere, now that's OK.
