About time they rebooted the actual story in this new timeline. Now is Mark Whalberg returning?

Looking back at my review of the film (which I haven't watch since the first time), what I want to see continued the most is the established sociological development among the apes, even if we don't see the same characters again. I would like to see Noa again but not as hard set on him as I was with Caesar (regardless of Serkis). I don't care about the humans one way or the other, aside from Dichen Lachman fulfilling the role she was clearly cast for.

I'm a big fan of Freya Allan, so I'd at least like to see Mae come back too.
My ideal would be a side story set in another part of the world around the same time as Kingdom. They could work in characters Mae and Korina (Dichen Lachman's character) to establish a connection to Kingdom, and maybe hint at their role in a direct sequel to Kingdom.
