Spoilers Killjoys - Season 4

"I don't like silica. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere."
-Jaq ;)

The centrifuge bit made no sense, lab ones should easily make way more Gs than it takes for Dutch to pass out.
Also, how hard was it to order Lucy to take over once the job was done if she passes out?

Dutch had to take full manual control to by-pass Lucy's safety protocols so without direct order she couldn't take over if/when Dutch passed out and warned about this.

After we lost Weej in a rather unceremonious fashion, I did not expect Pip to go too.

Welp, looks like I got some of that silica from last week in my eye... :weep:

Hannah John-Kamen is a really impressive actress. As soon as she opened her eyes at the end there, I could tell just from her expression and body language that it was Aneela rather than Dutch.

Well, that was an interesting end to the season. Some of it didn't surprise me, but I wasn't expecting that ending.

That was... weird. I liked the first couple of seasons for the tightness, cohesiveness, and momentum of their story arc, but this season feels like it meandered and was just marking time until the inevitable escape of the Lady as the driver of the final season's arc. It just hasn't held together as well.

A lovely finale for an overall very enjoyable season. :techman:

The ending's intriguing and there's a bit of a time-jump there, because Turin and Team Awesome Force also somehow got infected and/or overpowered by The Lady so I wonder if we'll get a flashback episode on how we got to the ending scene before kicking things off from there. Did she also infect the rest of the Qreshi through the nuking-happy fella? How far does her influence extend? Tune in next year to find out! :D

Question is how long we have to wait for the final season? Wiki says it's set to air in 2019 but I don't know if it's already in the can production wise given the clips for S5 at the end.

I think they may have already shot it, since they were renewed for the last two seasons at once. But I'd expect it to air in the summer as usual.

It crossed my mind that the ending scenes are more of a mental world, one where the Lady seemingly controls reality by manipulating the characters' memories. I suppose one could argue that would let her control them in the real world too, since that's what the disease subplot was hinting at. But I'd be tempted to suggest I may wind up being partly right, and that will be the key for Dutch and the others to finally fix things from inside.

No, I think the intent is that this is the real world after the Lady's taken over. That was her endgame, after all, to get out of the Green and back to the real world. It'd be kind of a cheat if the season ended with her not actually having done that.

I finally sat down and watched all 10 episodes over the past day or two.

Good season, and in fact after the first episode or two, I wish I would have watched them weekly, because they really had my attention. Though I might have posted a bit too heavily after that centrifuge episode.

As others have mentioned, they have a strong cast and some things just really click nicely on this show. Though also at times it did feel just a tiny bit too much like we were just setting up season 5.

So the whole point of the infected kids and the disease was to wipe out people's memories? Thus giving The Lady a clean slate to rewrite the universe to her liking? And was that girl at the very end The Lady? Surely they're not going to have a little girl be the big bad of next season?

She can always grow up in one episode like Jaq did... ;)
However, with the whole memory rewriting and manipulation thing I don't think The Lady is actually restricted to any one body.
