Kestra

You just know that's going to happen. The "sentient bunnicorn" won't be from Nepenthe, but they'll resemble it closely enough to weird her out.

Maybe Kestra could've taken out the Romulans all by herself.

Yeah that looks thing irked me a tiny amount. It would have more if the actress wasn’t so charismatic. My friend growing up had blond hair that turned brown over the years so maybe she’ll begin to resemble her father more. But she doesn’t look or act like Deanna at all. Thad took after his mother more, per Chabon, but yeah aside from the name Kestra....wait, could she be adopted?

I doubt Kestra was genetically engineered. The Rikers don't strike me as the type who would do that.

Kristin Dusnt was the original Kestra.

Interview with a Vampire Kristen Dunst is an easily accessible memory.

Lwaxana Troi may have cloned her child, got In trouble, and then Dee has to rear her sister as her daughter because mum is sharing a cell with Richard Bashir.

Both of my parents have brown hair, my father's is almost black. My brother had white blond hair as a child and a darker blond as an adult. Genetics is much more complex than brown + brown = brown.
I can imagine Riker being like Kestra as a child. He has a mischievous and fun side that crops up on TNG occasionally.

Kirsten was the alien girl who reminded Lwaxana of Kestra, not Kestra herself.
