Anybody who has seen that will argue her being "arrogant" with you. She was dressed as a nun, doing phone sex with Ashley Jensen! I think that dispalys a complete lack of taking yourself seriously!!!

She's one of the few actresses not afraid to look like an actual, normal woman instead of a frelling stick insect. She also seems like an actual person - not full of herself or all the time trying to tell people how to think / vote / whatever. As a bonus, she can actually act. To each their own and all but she's cool as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with the above sentiment on Kate Winslet. She just seems very genuine and real.

God, I hate that guy. And, sorry, the guy can't act for shit and he looks like a slightly handsomer version of Lyle Lovett.

She rubs me the wrong away when it comes to these awards she's been getting. It's like she wants to come across as being "shocked" that she's getting them...but it all seems calculated.

Thing is she is shocked, how many times has this woman been nominated only to lose out come awards day? I think she was genuinly amazed when she won the globes. As for the arrogance, I suspect she knows full well how good an actress she is, but she's also never really been lauded for it.

And plastic surgery? I doubt it, she's probably one of the most naturally beautiful women in Hollywood. I just wish she hadn't got so skinny, prefered her as a curvy 14 to a curvy 12...still at least there's none of this size zero bolocks with her.

There was an interview recently where she said she stopped reading press about herself about 12 years ago, because she decided that no press was good press, because if it's good it can go to your head and make you up yourself, and if it's bad it can get you down, and all that. But I guess regardless of whether you read it or not there'll still be people telling you about it, or interviewers wanting your opinion on it, etc. so she'll get to know it one way or the other.

I dont get her or Leonardo Decrapio either. I dont think they are great actors and their movies sucks. The only one I liked with her in it was "Little Children", but other than that she isnt all that great. She is overrated.
