I am sorry but to me that seems as pointless as cheating at solitaire.

My cats are 15. I have to wait until they die to get kittens. Then when I get kittens I have them VERY BRIEFLY, some months really.. and then I have to wait another 15+ years to get more kittens. Eventually I will die and there will not have been enough kittens.

My plan fixes this.

I can't understand that attitude. I don't often have pets, but when I do I love them for better or worse. When they get sick I feel pain. When they get old and decrepit, I love them even more for the memories that we share, In many ways I consider them as persons, even though I would never put their welfare before that of a person even a person I dislike but that's my ethics talking, not my heart.
