you weren't kidding when you said you wanted to savor this season.
I seriously thought about doing just one a week, but last week I ran into a friend who binged it in June. She loved it although she too bemoaned having to wait 12 months for season 5, whereas I now only have 11 months.
I am starting on a season 4 re-watch to catch stuff I missed the 1st time around.
For instance, in the first ep when Suzanne's "girlfriend" was trying to convince her to stay away from the prison, Suzanne refused explaining "I took a plea deal" and when the girlfriend claimed Suzanne never hurt anyone to land in prison, Suzanne corrected her.
The first few eps reminded me why I hated the Piper/Hawaiian girl interaction. It was like early Piper and Soso all over again, but where Piper grabbed Soso by the short hairs and tossed her aside when Soso overstepped, Piper was woefully ineffective with Miss Hawaii.
I did love Piper trying to compare her power with Red's, and getting put in her place with very little fanfare.
That new Captain of the guards ticks me off, and I wonder what it was that Caputo dug up on him by the end of the season.
I re-watched the final scene of ep 13 and one of the posters on the youtube vid suggested that Caputo's girlfriend (in the bathroom) probably has her gun in the purse.
I figure if she does, she must be "outside" the security barrier away from the prisoners. Then again, I can see her berating the CO's at the desk to prevent going through the metal detector.
I loved how the final shot of
Poussey's final flashback had her looking directly into the camera.
