What's wrong with her looks as Red? I think she looks hot. She is FIERCE as she says herself. She is maternal. She is strong. She is vulnerable. She is kick ass.

I still have those "OMFG ! Why ? What happened ? " moments , but get so immense in Red that one forgets the " OMFG ! Why? What happened? Life aint the bad surely" - moments

You realize she looks that way for a role, right? It's not as if Mulgrew actually looks like that outside of the character of Red.

The change has been emerging from the last season of Voyager and it became increasingly become even more and more ..erm... Now how should i put it.....expansion?..
There is something more than just the" expansion" issue. I have noticed ..something missing.. And no it isnt just the age thing.. Something more....She has something different bout her that Mulgrew Voyager days...When i watched her in a few films since Voyager , i had to double back to focus on the fact it is Mulgrew.. There is something... Maybe she is more hardened , an almost dangerous..Slightly evilish look to her( no offense) ..Yep definitely that

Complaining ? I wouldn't describe it that way.. I have noticed it a lot . It was just a moment thats all .

As for the " older" issue. She isn't exactly ancient( she is at her prime nowadays. She doesn't look..60 , she looks a lot younger. She certainly has a lot of energy ,enthusiasm and great skin .

The hardened look is probably the result of personal disappointments ( or maybe it is a secret someone missing from her life, that was there during her days on Voyager . Anyways - to me , It is apparently she has hardened and no it isn't the character. I have noticed it prior to OITNB

She looked about the same weight her last year on Voyager as she did during the duration of the series. As for her "hardened" look. It's called acting. The rest is just your imagination.

^Her weight had increased a lot more than the last season of Voyager . She has a history of going up and down with that area of her body..OMG that didnt come out right did it ..
It could be as a result of a thyroid problem( like i say i have the same thing and it can send ones body in a spin ) or other factors. It is just certainly noticeable maybe because as Janeway ( Season 1-5)she always had it down pack- of course for the role she had to keep that shit! together

As for the hardened look.. Although i have an incredibly imagination , I cannot equate it to that on this occasion.
I know a thing or two about acting . Although im not a resident of Stella Alder. One can somewhat tell a subtle difference

Does anyone know for sure if Lorraine Toussaint will return ? I think she is such an amazing strong character. I cannot imagine the show without her hilarious one liners. I think she is great
