^ Definitely Karl. I would recognize those hands and lips almost anywhere.

I wonder what year this was taken-Karl did a few promo pics wearing glasses in the past-does anyone know if he is nearsighted or was it just a fashion statement? Darn you, AstroSmurf--you just caused me to go through every single Karl photo I have saved on my hard drive and stare closely at his lips to try to find the freckle. What a tedious, repulsive task. NOT.

The Paramount logo suggests an official promo picture, perhaps discarded in favor of the profile shot which they used for the second set of posters back in August 2008? That one was backlit, too.

Mmm... I love both of the images - I really like the (we've been through this before and I still can't think of the proper word) sense that there's more to McCoy than cheery country doctor.
