Karl Urban -- blond or brunet?

I never liked PATHFINDER. It was a better Karl movie than DOOM was, but not by enough for me to really recommend it to most people.

I forgot about Doom, hopefully Urban will have some new better movies by the twelfth Star Trek films release to boast about.

Really, aside from TREK and the LotR movies he was in there's not a whole lot on his movie resume(sadly)to pay tribute to his personal appeal and acting chops.

I just looked up Karl Urban at IMDB.com and found he is involved in two movies right now: Relentless (3D) and Hired Guns with some future projects being Priest, An Soon The Darkness.

Another film that he is in that I don't know is out yet is Black Water Transit.

td was just mentioning above being intrigued by seeing the title, Black Water Transit...

If you're looking for stuff he's good in, rather than stuff he's the star of or is in a lot, then I recommend Out of the Blue. He isn't in it much, and it's a very dark film (being the true story of a spree killer) but it's very good.

The Price of Milk, which is a NZ indie film, has a great Karl performance. You can get it on Netflix instant viewing. :bolian:

CD, just wanted to mention that I adore "Love Actually." It's one of my favorite holiday movies. How you can possibly go wrong with Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, Liam Neeson, AND Emma Thompson? I have to go watch it now. :)

On topic? Sunday 12/6 starting at 6:15 a.m. (Eastern), TNT is showing the LOTR trilogy. The Eomer movies start at 10 a.m.

My favorite holiday movie is "The Holiday." All the characters are so great in that, and Jude Law is edible. I love Iris's relationship with the Eli Wallach character.

Ditto. Plus Emma, Alan and Colin are among my favorite actors. And I don't even save it for the Holidays anymore. I watch it several times a year, especially when I need a pick-me-up.

Yes, Jack Black is in "The Holiday," and I was pleasantly surprised at what a good romantic co-star he turned out to be.

I never liked LOVE, ACTUALLY. But I sorta/kinda remember Karl being in it now that I think back on the movie's scenes. Maybe I should rewatch it with new eyes.

Wasn't he the naked stand-in in the porn movie scenes? :guffaw:

You might be right, if my memory serves...

Oh, if that were true, there would be an estrogen explosion of galactic proportions in this thread. M'Sharak would have to post a warning not to come near the thread for at least a decade, until the estrogen particles have cleared and it's safe to venture in again.
