My gosh! Karl is so darn CUTE in that video. I could just eat him with a spoon! I wish he would come to my office and do that with the action figure on my desk. *sigh*

But after reading that post upstream about him being married, I am having reservations about being all gaga over him now. My mother taught me to never play with other people's toys, or at least without asking first. And two kids? I bet money they are just as pretty as their dad. (Happy Fathers Day Karl!)

Oh, well...I did watch most of Pathfinder last night. There was a sex scene, but most body parts were covered. I loved the shot the used.

Definitely going to have to get hold of that movie!

Ended up not watching Chronicles last night - it was too long, it would have kept me up too late, so we watched Bourne Identity instead, so next week I have Bourne Supremacy to look forward to!

NCC-1701 may be the one to ask about how to get the file size down. He and orac have made some pretty awesome animated avs with surprisingly tiny filesize.

His eyes look almost pure black in Pathfinder. Maybe it's the funkly colorization they did for the movie. It just looks weird.

Just want to mention, from another thread, that the classic TOS novel, Romulan Way, is a nice McCoy read, plus just a good background on Romulans. It has McCoy on the cover.

I saw your other post and its definitely now on my list to read.

One of my favoutie ST novels is Crisis on Centaurus which is also a good McCoy story. It also features his daughter (whose name escapes me at the moment) and the story of how he and Kirk first met.

I've never read any TOS books, I started reading a TNG book, but never finished. I wonder when the books based on the new movie will be out...or are they out now?

The tie-in novel is available - it's by Alan Dean Foster. What I'm waiting for is the new line of original novels set in this time-line, I've always enjoyed the original novels much more than the tie-ins.


EDIT: Mention of MU Spock in the Kirk vs Spock thread has reminded me that SalvorHardin did an awesome MU variation of new Trek including one of McCoy. He did it for one of the caption competitions. I shall go and find it. If you don't see me for a couple of days, get M'Sharak to send out the search dogs.
