Karl Urban -- blond or brunet?

Oh my heavens... :alienblush:  :adore:

I only took a quick look, I daren't look for longer because I'll end up as a puddle of goo and I've got things to do today!

I saw this graphic on an article about McCoy (here) and I love it!

Now THAT would be a far better pop-up than 99% of the shit we currently have to put up with on the Trek BBS.

Okay, so? Finally watched Pathfinder all the way through yesterday. Unimpressed by everything but Karl. I think it was cooleddie who said he's always the best thing in every crappy movie he's in, and he's right. He was good in this. I wasn't happy that the version I saw had the kissing scene that I understand was in there cut out. BOO, FX. You can show someone getting ripped apart by being tied to horses, but you can't show a kissing scene? Puh-leeze.

Other than that, it was bloody (although the blood was sort of like the blood in 300--just sort of dark, thanks to the sepia-tone look of the movie), violent (I spent a lot of the movie looking away from the screen--which could be why I missed the kissing thing, but I don't think so--I always looked back as soon as the screaming stopped :)), and I don't think I'd watch it again, but at least I can say I saw it.

Final verdict? Recommended for Karl Urban fans, but otherwise, meh. Bring on my DVD Tuesday--I've been missing my Scruffy McCoy!

Awesome costume, CD! I envy you the figure to be able to wear that uniform--you make a very pretty science officer! :bolian:

I was going to go with Nurse Chapel, and then I realized I look crappy as a blonde and Dr. Mc Coy would never sleep with one of his nurses (esp Chapel).

Since I love blue, I figured what the hell, I'd work for Spock and maybe I could talk Mc Coy into a sleepover just to get Spock's goat.

Yes, I am evil. :D

Gates also has a dancer's body so of course she loved the jumpsuit. :rommie: She was made for it.

(And CD you have to remember that both Gates and Marina were both wearing concealed cosmetic "help" under those suits. I am not referring to a girdle either. They also had those uniforms specially tailored to their bodies. If you had that much special attention, you would look fantastic too... not that you need all that much help. You just think you do.)

And I am just about to die here. Waiting another freakin 36 hours for my Star Trek DVD is killing me. I want it NOW. My need for a Karl/McCoy fix is turning desperate over here. :(

Oh, I don't care how well they're tailored, they're ugh-lee!

I'm in a quandary: do I skip Communion Tuesday and go to Target at lunch to get the DVD or wait till after work to pick it up?

That time will fly by. You shall enjoy it on Tuesday.

Depends are you going anywhere on Tuesday night? Plus you are gonna be so happy to finally have it.

And you do look awesome in that costume, as I've said before.

I'm such a geek I even took a vacation day tomorrow. Granted, we're going to run some other errands and I do have a dentist appointment, but I'm not going to lie. A good part of the reason I did it is so I can run and get my movie, then go home, plop down on the couch, and watch it as many times as I want!!!! Plus I have to see all those special features, and listen to the movie with the commentary (and the ultimate goal: get my Dr. McCoy fix--AstroSmurf and I will be drooling in harmony). Working just does NOT fit in to that schedule. ;)

This is a big reason why I'm not going to be buying the DVD yet. I know I won't have time to watch it until Christmas so I'm not going to torture myself by having it in the house.

I'll be looking here for new pictures though! :)

CD: GREAT pictures!! You are just so adorable i cant stand it!!!!

MRS WHATSIT: Heck, i'm debating on whether or not to go to Best Buy tonight at midnight!!
