I've been watching him as Julius Caesar in the Xena and Hercules series, and he is seriously wonderfully badass and droolworthy in that role.
I plan to give Riddick a pass, despite my addiction.
I've seen the love scene in Pathfinder, and it's OK, but you have to be Urban-desperate to watch the whole movie for that.

I watched some kind of Pathfinder-Obsessed-Fan-Video on YouTube and it does look his shirt is off for most of the movie.... so that is somethin' as long I am not picky about character depths or coherent storylines (and have a few glasses of wine in me).
I have to wonder how he picks his scripts. When searching for Pathfinder scenes on YouTube I found an interview where he said he usually chooses projects based on the script.
I could now go on with ponderings about his reading ability... but since I wub him, I'll let it go....
....oh, and speaking of Xena. I never watched it, but have again seen obsessed-fan-montages on YouTube.

That is too funny! I watched Pathfinder while reading the Lovely Bones. I would watch for a bit, read a chapter of the book and then unmute the movie again. Oh the things we fans suffer through.
I still want the hour I expended on Riddick back. That movie was just horrid I say.
I love your rambling posts. I am like that even when sober. I don't think even wine could save Pathfinder from being a deadly dull mess. Viking daddy issue movies are not that giggle worthy unless you have friends with you to give it the MST3K treatment.
(I always think of this Special Agent AU Kirk/McCoy fic someone wrote whenever I see this.)
