K7 Space Station ?

Hi there I've just bought and going to build the AMT kit of the legendary space station K7 from the TOS episode trouble with tribbles

I have one question does anyone know or can help on what scale the starship enterprise is against the K7 diagrams or pictures will help as i once I have built this kit I want to scale her up to the enterprise .?
Any help will do thanks NS LLAP

Ignore the tiny Enterprise that comes with the kit. In "DS9:Trials & Tribble-ations", Greg Jein put a Galileo style shuttlecraft in that bottom section of the station, so there's your scale reference.

Hi ziz thanks for your input I'll do some research on this little project I noticed the transfers that come with the kit are very plain so I'm going to look on adapting and making some new transfers maybe the TOS UFP sign from the franz Joseph starfleet tech manual and some others so the kit does not look boring.!!

I think my corgi enterprise may be in scale or maybe my jonny lighting enterprise I will have to see. Never built the K7 before so I'm looking forward to it .?

There's pictures of the model as well as a close up of the shuttle bay. It should give you a pretty good idea as to scale.

On the Starship Modeler website, they list the scale on the K-7 kit as 1/1371 scale. That would make the Polar Lights 1/1000 kit about 30% too big, the 1/1600 AMT kit (the three ship set) about 30% too small. Of course, Starcrafts 1/1400 scale versions is almost dead on, but a tad pricey.

I'm probably going to use the Enterprise and D7 out of the three ship set because they'll make the station seem a bit bigger, and I already have them lying around.

Same here I'm going to use my corgi enterprise or get the 3 peice set they look ok possible not to scale but it will make it look good .!
