K-less Klingons?

I was just thinking how extremely fortunate it is that Klingons share the sound of the eleventh letter of our earthly, English alphabet.

Why, without it, they would worship Ahless, and we would have Captain Ang and Organian Governor Or.

All me razy, but would Lingons be ooky without the sound of "K"?

Funny thing is, we didn't get our first canon K-less Klingons until TSFS: Maltz and Torg.

Anyway, "K" is an iconic sound in SF--just ask Forbidden Planet's Rell.

Personally, I always thought the name Kahless was an inside gag about how virtually all the Klingons on TOS had their name spelt with a K. The name is pronounced in 'The Savage Curtain' as Kay-less (K-less), though it's oftentimes pronounced Kah-less elsewhere.

Sure, as said, there's Mara, but there's also Kor, Koloth, Kang, Korax, and, if we're counting their script names, Kras and Krell.
