Justice League official "Zack Snyder" cut on HBO Max

It is worth the rewatch, and I benefitted from binging a number of episodes at a time; it made the story much more coherent, compared to the normal TV breaks over the summer and mid-season, not mention NFL interruptions. And I got chills down my spine every time I heard the words, "And now, the season finale of Smallville."

I have bought the Smallville Dvd box two weeks ago. I have to watch the last episode of the disappointing show "the haunting of Bly Manor" and then I am going to start with the Smallville rewatch

Not exactly. He still hasn't really come clean with his actual evidence nor is WB charging Whedon with anything.

Whedon left the show he created for HBO. Geoff Johns is moving an upcoming comic book project over to Image. It does feel like there is something to this.

It does feel like that. I don't want to drag politics into this, but I've had enough of vague accusations and innuendo about the election, without any verifiable proof offered, to last me a lifetime.
I didn't enjoy Whedon's JL, I thought it was a cheap copy of the Avengers movies and didn't tie up the Snyder storyline at all. I like the Marvel movies for what they are, but I never wanted or expected the DC movies to be clones.
In any case, Whedon may be an asshat, or he may be falsely condemned, I don't know. I'm not sure I really care. I was a huge fan of Buffy at the time, but if he can't find people willing to work with him that's his problem.

I'm arriving to this very late.

They also cut a new black Iris West.

I'm not sure that we should defend Wheedon on faith.

If I had to defend him on faith I would suggest that cyborg is a Titan, and that he isn't supposed to be there anyway... Which anyone would counter with Cyborg joining the Superfriends in 1981, or on and off how important Cyborg has been to the Justice league since Geoff John's run 15 years ago...

Which clearly doesn't matter since Joss probably stopped reading DC before the first crisis and adults did not watch Superfriends.

SIGH.

There are three ways kids get comics.

1. Theft. Opportunity usually means that the safest comics to steal are not necessarily the books you most want to read.

2. Allowance.

3. Your parents buy them for you and they always get it wrong because they don't care and they don't understand.

I have no idea what that has to do with this thread but I am stealing it for personal use.

He will have signed a compromise agreement and been given a big cheque. It's an awfully big coincidence that Whedon "quits" his new show a couple of weeks ago before this was announced...

Interesting to see if Alan Moore fan fiction writer Johns gets the boot as well.

It's 2020 - 4) "open a browser window".

I use cdisplay, A while back I was trapped somewhere with tiny monitors, and I was able to use the jpg viewer on their flat screen, but I was talking about Joss Wheedon's childhood in the early to mid 1970s.

Dad buys a comic book for little Joss whenever he buys a pack of cigarettes from the drug store.

There's a 20 percent chance that that comic is an Archie.

Without getting into an entirely different topic - I'm not sure people even bother downloading anymore - the number of sites a google way where you read in the browser seems to have mushroomed.

HBO's one line statement on his departure does make more sense now if the deal was "Quit your show and we"ll refrain from making our findings public."

I'm getting the feeling this entire topic is hardly about the Snyder cut at all. Which makes sense, since it's not released yet. But still.

Wow, this was not the outcome of the Fisher situation I was expecting. This definitely does shine a new light on Joss Whedon leaving The Nevers. I wonder if this will be bad enough to be a career ender for him?
