Julian could have had the best of everything with Jadzia, Miles and Garak. But that is not the case but he was best friends with Miles O'Brien.I wish the producers had enough courage for a Bashir/Garak relationship. It would be great!
Yeah. "MASH did it too." isn't really an argument. And yes, Mash was rife with things that would have doctors jailed today.
It's a nice thought, but any relationship built on lies is doomed to fail -- even if the same lie is never told twice.I wish the producers had enough courage for a Bashir/Garak relationship. It would be great!
Neither could the writers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I could never really establish who Jadzia was.
And I did not bring up as an argument, but only as a cultural reference on the portrayal of doctors. Please read the thread thoroughly.Yeah. "MASH did it too." isn't really an argument.
Which he should have discouraged, being her doctor.
@jaime I never noticed an issue with Odo and Kira, maybe on his end, because of everything that happened with the Shakaar, but she didn’t seem to do anything that would have been line crossing.
I’m actually not a fan of Kira because I felt that her sexual prowess was a little overboard otherwise. She reminded me a lot of Kirk, there was always someone new and her love life was a revolving door until her and Odo got together. He was the best thing for her. IMO, Odo was one of the only relationships she had that wasn’t fleeting and insubstantial. They actually had something real that wasn’t rushed into one episode. Him joining the link in the finale broke my heart.
Was Bashir worse than Hawkeye Pierce, Trapper John or Frank Burns? Adam Bricker?
Wrong. Because I saw hardly any compliments with Worf at all and in Season 3 Episode 4 Equilibruim Jadzia calls Julian a 'Dear Man'.
I was not talking about "Rejoined" I was talking about "Equilibrium"."A dear man" was not a romanic or flirty complement at all! Dax was saying "thank you for sitting there like a third wheel for hours while Lenara and I reminisced and flirted! You were the perfect blind chaperone! Thank you and you are firmly in the friend zone."
It’s a line of Ezri I think. Something like ‘if Worf hasn’t had come along, it would have been you julian’
Jadzia May even have said it. It’s on screen somewhere I believe. Unless I am smudging in the relaunch books.
That would have been interesting! My first thought was the Nog would have been way too young for Ezri, but that isn't really so, is it? I'd rather have seen that than Bashir. At least it would have been a twist that you couldn't see coming a light year away.Ezri would have been Ezri Tigan if that was the case.
It’s Starfleet 101. Even Troi and Tasha did it. XD
Which British people? Liverpool? Yorkshire? Lots of enjoyable accents, but not all posh by any means! No Offence, But us British People sound far posh and fluent than the Americans do.
No love for the Mancunians? Manx? Shetlanders?Which British people? Liverpool? Yorkshire? Lots of enjoyable accents, but not all posh by any means!
I mean Recieved Pronunciation or "Queens English" as they call it.Which British people? Liverpool? Yorkshire? Lots of enjoyable accents, but not all posh by any means!
I was not talking about "Rejoined" I was talking about "Equilibrium".
I thought we were supposed the cut the conversation about accents?
Is that canon?
Good Morning. One of the cringe worthy moments in a Matter Of Honor was Yar and Troi perving on the leader of the planet.
Edit: code of honor.
Morning.
Good Morning.
I believe that was cringy though.
qftI wish the producers had enough courage for a Bashir/Garak relationship. It would be great!
