At least we have these shows on dvd, I am still waiting on the dvd release of 6 seasons of Third Watch
LOVE This!I plan to just enjoy what is released, in whatever format that is.
All boycotting Discovery (and any other Star Trek Blu-ray for that matter) will do is show CBS there is little interest in physical media (because of low sales) A boycott won't get CBS to suddenly start an expensive remastering process that won't get them a return on their investment.
We can do it you just have to have trust that CBS knows what a cash cow ,Trek fans represent. We alone are keeping CBS-All Access up and running. We need to strike now while our power is still strong and before that new "Twilight Zone" show becomes great taking away the importance of Trek an thus, us to them!

I'm boycotting boycotts until we see an end to nonsensical gestures of protest that are utterly meaningless and will accomplish absolutely nothing.
I've not watched another two episodes today according to the TV guide. That showed 'em !I've been not watching TOS on cable.
Is DS9 out on Blueray yet ?
Oh my God. I feel like I just traveled back in time. @Stewey is back.Whether or not DS9 is released on BR, Discovery is always worth boycotting with the rest of millenial "trek"

Sure you don't want to downgrade to VCR tapes and i'm not talking about official ones that would come from Columbia House I believe it was. I mean copies people recorded off their tv and somehow those tapes are still around.

I am thankful I have never watched those shows in such a low resolution as 480i, 576i all the way.![]()
At some point all these shows are not going to be released anymore in the current format of the day. Do you think CBS is going to put TNG out there in 4K? I plan to just enjoy what is released, in whatever format that is.
I feel that anyone who finds the need to “protest” a Star Trek show can best serve humanity by protesting in the same manner that certain Buddhist monks protested the Vietnam War.

How the hell is this thread still ongoing...?
