Spoilers John de Lancie confirms that shooting for seasons two *and* three is underway

I'm really hoping it's a "Trials and Tribblations" type take. Maybe a brief interaction with some 1980's Data footage, with Spiner maybe dubbing in some new dialogue.
Great idea! Particularly as Spiner wanted to kill off Data because of aging issues.. It really doesn't make sense to go on using him, flashback or otherwise.

I just wanted to clarify something but my understanding is they are not filming season 3 episodes right now rather season three will commence production immediately after season 2 has completed filming. When deLancie said their filming the seasons at the same time, it means back-to-back (one right after the other) but they aren't filming both seasons at the exact same time.

Yeah, appreciated. That's what I meant to convey, but I can see how it gets muddled due to phrasing.

Q could do a scene with Data after Data's death. Imagine if they met like Q met with Picard at the beginning of "Tapestry." This would mean that Data had an immortal soul and that he had triumphed in his quest to be fully human.

The same story is on other sites. It could have come from a different source.

Totally true! All of this article's links lead to internal content, however, save for rather unrelated links to ScreenRant and IMDB that are probably in place to satisfy some sort of SEO quota.

If you wouldn't mind, could you show me the other sites?

Appreciated.

Over in the "Future of Trek" thread, I think we tend to label WeGotThisCovered as just about as bad as GiantFreakinRobot -- they've both had so many "scoops" in the past that turn out to be wildly incorrect. I'm not familiar with RedShirtsAlwaysDie, but both WeGotThisCovered and RedShirtsAlwaysDie directly cite GFR.

In other words, I would love for this to be true. But if it is, I strongly doubt it'd have anything to do with this article. :rommie:

Q always adds the most unexpected surprises in a show. One minute the Enterprise D could be fighting Romulans in a pivotal battle and, snap, Hello Mon Capitan.

30,000 light years from knowhere.
