I was gonna say you're early for this, but +12 and everything means that's always the case xD.

That's not fair.

However I normally do April Fools on April 23 or 16 or 29th, it's still April after all. ;)

That's it. You can all thank the OP for the fact that, from now on, April Fools' Day is banished. Okay? At TrekBBS, April 1st is officially March 32nd forever!

If nothing else, this demonstrates the innate superiority of practical models over CG. Right?

Right?

Has anyone actually ever built a Babylon 5 model? I see scratchbuilts of the TMP Enterprise or the Millenium Falcon every day. Even seen one of the nuBSG Galactica.

Got one on my shelf. I was gonna get the Starfury model too but it had such a limited run (like 8000) local stores ran out quick, or weren't supplied with many to start with.

I wonder what a studio scale model could look like. 6, 10, maybe 12 feet long? I think that would be pretty awesome.

The only proper model they built for the series was the White Star, which featured in Messages from Earth.

Interesting JMS is trying to something new with Babylon 5 (and this isn't a joke). Sometime soon, should hear it as should meeting with executives from a studio.

Sigh. I thought this was real. Then TrekBBS took 5 damn minutes to load the page. I forgot what tomorrow is. For shame, sir!
