AGREE 100%. The photos were obviously leaked by Bad Robot and Paramount to create some sizzle which it did.,
in fact the vantage point and quality of the pics would indicate they were taken from the shooting camera's vantagepoint (where the f-ing director would be)

Considering how huge Cumberbatch's following is among younger people thanks to Sherlock I think this is great publicity for the movie. I know its hit Tumblr land and the Cumberbatch excitement is frenzied, lol.
