Jessica Jones-- Marvel/Netflix

Those are some interesting titles. episode 12 is my favorite. I'm really excited for this show, I hope we get it near the end of this year instead of in 2016.

Those are definitely some interesting titles. Is Mike Colter going to be a regular or could the episode 12 title be an indication that that is going to be his first episode?

I'm thinking he'll appear before that. If the show is using Alias's idea and Jessica is a retired hero by Episode 1 (which I think is the case), then episode 12 might be at least partially a flashback episode to when
she met Luke when she was still an active superhero, and might even include an origin for one or both of their powers.

I could be wrong, but right now that makes the most sense to me.

That would make sense, especially with where the Jessica's character probably will be if it follows the comics as closely as it's expected too.

According to IMDB (admittedly not always a reliable source) Colter is in all 13 episodes. There is also an actor listed for "Young Jessica Jones", who appears in 3 episodes.

Damn, Netflix is doing a good job with luring people like me who don't know anything about most of these characters or don't care. I had no interest in Jessica Jones until Krysten Ritter and David Tennant were cast, and I have no interest in Luke Cage but casting Alfred Woodard might change that (as well as his appearances on "Jessica Jones").

You'll wake up in a couple weeks having slept walked into a comic shop and bought the first Alias TPB.

You won't be able to get your money back so you might as well read the book.

Your fate is sealed.

"It's time the world knew her name." Premiere on November 20th.

As with the first Daredevil promos, you can see Avengers Tower in the background, but we probably won't see it on the show.

Very well-put together promo, and it's nice to finally have a release date. Pretty sure I could hear David Tennant a couple of times in that, too.

That's kickass. You can definitely see the influence of David Mack's art style from the comics (or comic covers, at least).

Yeah, that was really cool. I'm not familiar with the character though, other than the basics, so I have a feeling a lot of the significance of the specific images was lost on me.

Eh, it's very pretty but it fails in the single most important objective of a trailer (or even a promo): tell the viewer what it's about.

Because I know what I know, that teaser gave my soul a boner.

They mimicked the painting style from the comics perfectly.

That teaser was for me and people like me.

It was personal.

Obtuse detail studded noob trailers are chalked up for next week.

On the contrary -- it's a teaser, meaning that its goal is not to tell people what it's about, but to get them wondering what it's about.

Yeah, this is comparable to the Daredevil one that was just the city of New York followed by the DD symbol.
