Does the MCU do that? I seem to recall Smallville liked to dress its characters in their superhero colors.I should start a season 2 thread, but I'm feeling too lazy.
Is Hellcat on the prowl? The color scheme of her outfit is certainly a nod to her comics look.
Occasionally. There's a certain character in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' (two, actually) who wears a jacket meant to evoke the pattern and colour of the somewhat sillier costume from the comics. Crossbones, Falcon and the Vulture's outfits only have a thematic resemblance to their comic book incarnation.Does the MCU do that? Jessica is a bar brawler and that's kinda the whole point. Leave all the jumpy, flippy stuff to Danny, Matt & Coleen.Who is hoping that Jessica improves on her subpar fighting skills in season 2?
I've quit at white belt in karate and rarely get into fights, but I fight a thousand times better than her. You'd think someone who gets into a lot of fights by her profession would think of improving her fighting skills.
I don't see how a flashback would be useful
Yes, I know that, but I'm thinking specifically what story can be shown from her time with Kilgrave that has happened been shown. I don't want them to just show more of the same trauma that we already seen. I think the lingering presence in her mind would be more affective to show how she's dealing with the trauma than flashbacks. The first season was about Jessica coping with the trauma of what Kilgrave did to her, and obviously that wouldn't simply go away; it would be with her for the rest of her life. PTSD can induce literal flashbacks, as we saw in season 1, when something Jessica saw or heard would trigger a traumatic memory. So it stands to reason that she might still be subject to flashbacks.
Perhaps, although we know that Kilgrave and Jessica hadn't met before he took her over, so they would have to be careful how to present such flashbacks. Also, we know that Jessica still doesn't know the origin of her powers. It might well be linked to the experiments that created Kilgrave's powers, so the flashback might be part of an episode explaining his connection to her origins.

David Tennant/Killgrave to return in season 2!
Flashbacks? The little voice in her head that won't go away? Both?
Going to be curious as to what form he takes. Is he a regular? I'm just concerned that if he's the dominant antagonist for S2 that this season will feel too much like an 80s sequel---lack of creativity.David Tennant/Killgrave to return in season 2!
