I have no morose commentary, no grand eloquent epitaphs... just that this is sudden and unexpected and crap and past time to reboot the whole absofraggin year. People really do die every day, but man it hits hard doesn't it, when this happens to something you enjoy

The fuck? Doyle always looked like he took good care of himself. Even with age-induced paunchiness he was like Sean Connery and you'd expect him to hit a respectable run.

    :(

I was the biggest fan of B5 when it was being screened and was around Mr Doyle at that huge convention in Blackpool (The Gathering I think). He was a funny guy if slightly acerbic. It's way too young to die, way too young. So many B5 actors have died young.

Damn, B5's cast have been dying way too young and we have lost too many.

I love that show with all my heart.

That's a shame. It's really tragic how many of the B5 cast have passed away at this point.

Wow, very sad news indeed. I hadn't heard much about him lately, did we hear about him being sick or anything?

Me too and from what I've read I think we had very different political views but I remember watching him in B5 incredibly fondly. Certainly, Garibaldi was very much a 'straight up what you see is what you get' kind of guy and I think there was alot of Jerry in him. RIP Chief.

Andreas Katsulas, Richard Biggs, Michael O'Hare, Jeff Conaway, Tim Choate, Robin Sachs and now Jerry? Unbelievable. Most were under 60.

I wasn't a fan of his post Babylon 5 career but he played one of my top three favorite Bab5 characters and I will will miss him. I wish the best for his family and friends.
