Jayru (JSnaith's) 3D Trek

HI all, this is just a small update:

Op went as planned (mostly) on Monday. A partial repair was done, enough to improve my quality of life and give me a few more years. My valve proved more complex than expected; hence, it was a partial success, but a success I'll take.

Should be home by next week, but I am up and about and finding out what my new limits are.

More soon.

Hi Gang, back and recovering. The procedure went sort of well. They've reduced the leakage from Severe to Moderate. Best they could do. I will have to wait for technology to catch up again. But they have bought me extra time. That I am grateful for.

On to the purpose of this thread, some updates:

Hi Gys and Gals,

Still in hospital - going to be in for a while. Fluid overload again - 21 friggen litres of fluid have come off already, but there is still more to drain off. Also the Khadas system I brought into earler this year has developed a major flaw and is going back. Replacement system in the works and will be set up as soon as I get home.

Take good care of yourself buddy.
There's only one of you, and we like that one. And we hope to get to enjoy you as a person for a long time, and as a side effect, more of your awesome design work.
But here's the kicker.... If YOU get to stay around but can't do CGI anymore, I'm good with that. The world is a nicer place with you in it regardless, so focus on that first.

Well, the good news is - I am going to be around for a while. In fact: I am being discharged tomorrow to go home.

As for the 3D stuff? I think I would go quietly insane if I had to stop, so the new system will accommodate all that :-) I may have already picked my new system; I just need the other half to do their due diligence in case I've missed anything, and I can get it ordered.

More soon.
