It's not a matter of "just as good" it's that you look different. There are different kinds of sexy, hot, beautiful, erotic and youth is just one of those kinds.

On another board I frequent, we had a thread last year about how one particular actress looked more wonderful as she aged.

Of course, as you've noted already... personal preference is "personal".

I think a lot of people look much better as they age because they look more decisive and sure of themselves. I'm watching early Stargate at the moment and Amanda Tapping IMO has vastly improved as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary for just those reasons.
