The second one employed some clever gimmicks, resulting in a few memorable moments - like the final scene, which is the best. But "genius" as a narrative movie? Far from it.

Best remembered as a resistance leader, I think, rather than as Prime Minister.

And in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and on Star Trek: Discovery. Michelle Yeoh is never not awesome.

Michelle Yeoh AND Edie Falco. My interest in the avatar sequels has been renewed.

Fingers crossed Yeoh gets a fight scene.

I wonder if they'll revive Sigourney's character for the next one.

Maybe they could do an Avatar meets Alien movie...

Cameron and the studio bickered over the number of sequels, pushing the dates back. They have their movies planned out and have moved onto filming and post production. From what we've heard 2 and 3 are into just rendering now, that part Disney (for better or worse) will crack down on to get them out on time.
