Jadzia's Dax Symbiont

I think so ,she is a main character during the first six seasons of the science fiction television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Thank you ensign, you knowledge is incredible. Now find the nearest airlock and walk.................

At least it was implied she slept around a lot, before Worf showed up.
Kira thought she was attracted to Ferengi. Dax admitted to seein' a dude with a see thru skull. And there was that wrestler that Arjin met in 'Playing God'.

And its possible that people applied Curzon's reputation to the new Dax...

You're right. Perhaps it was the spirit of Curzon...he was quite the play-ah.

Well, she did sleep around a lot.

So did Curzon Dax. I think the reputation came from both of them, and in a lot of ways, I believe that after "Blood Oath," the personality of Jadzia ended up being overwhelmed by Curzon's.

Given that, no wonder Ezri was so afraid of being overwhelmed by the symbiont! It had already happened once before, and knowing that, it had to be terrifying thinking that it could happen again to her.

^And it more or less did happen to her, in the relaunch--with the notable exception of Section 31: Abyss. Other than that one, her "integration" resulted in a LOT of strain on her relationship with Julian (culminating in Unjoined), and a lot of generally not-so-likable moments on her part.

Is Dax old for a symbiont?

The slugs might play it nice for the first two or three lives, after which the burden of previous experiences and mounting boredom would grow too great for the future hosts to bear. Dax and Odan could be old codgers who are especially likely to overrule their hosts and engage in all sorts of reckless thrill-seeking. But is nine lives and three and a half centuries a lot or not, by Trill standards?

^^^ Again, not according to the relaunch books. There's nothing to establish it one way or the other on screen, but in the books the symbionts are descibed as being able to live for many thousands of years. At some point they grow too large to be joined anymore. The oldest symbionts - the Annuated - specifically described Dax as "young," basically still a child by symbiont standards. But the symbiont Gard was described as being older than almost any other symbiont you have heard of, and was still joined. So it must take quite a while before they are no longer capable of being joined.

...As far as I can tell, she slept (and wrestled) in her quarters. With whom is another question altogether.

Here's the "known make-outs" list for Jadzia:

-The personal trainer in "Playing God"

-Captain Boday

-Worf

Known flirtations:

-Quark

-Morn

-Dr. Bashir

-The Risan girl in "Let He Who Is Without Sin..."

-The guy in "Meridian"

-Dr. Kahn

-Sisko (Okay...that was due to the "bug" in "Fascination"....)

"Lustful Eyes":

-Spock

-The holograms masseuses in "Way Of The Warrior" (come to think of it...I'd say it's implied there's been a few "make-outs", there....)

I'm sure there are a few others I haven't remembered, yet....
