Jadzia or Ezri?

Jadzia for both. And the fact that we learned more about Dax from Ezri isn't Jadzia's fault, we just didn't have many Trill episodes. Being forced to introduce Ezri forced Trill episodes, hence: learning.

I liked Jadzia, she was fun. Ezri just seemed confused all the time. Although once I saw the whole series (DVD) i learned to like her some, but not more than Jadzia.

She was confused. Remember, she was never an initiate for bonding with a Symbiont but instead had it thrust upon her. Normally the host would have undergone years of preparation and screening to ready her for the eventual joining.

Imagine what it would be like to suddenly have all those memories and thoughts in your head. No wonder she was often confused and unsure of herself.

In the DS9 relaunch books her character is developed further and she does begin to become more comfortable with herself as a joined Trill.

Ezri. In both. One, Jadzia was always way too overconfident and self assured for the common person to connect with. Ezri brought a soft vulnerability to the character that i loved. And I love the way Ezri looks. Just.. yum.

Not that I'd turn down Jadzia. If she could rock Worf's world...I can imagine what she'd do with mine!

Jadzia on both counts. She was gorgeous, and often put in some very good performances.

But it isn't really fair to compare the two actors. They were seperate characters, and, by definition, had different traits. For the brief time we saw Ezri Dax, I was very impressed with her character.

That being said, I've always wondered how DS9 would have turned out if Terry Farrell had remained on the show. It would have been interesting.

I voted Jadzia for the first option, Ezri second. But it's a close call on both counts.

I think Jadzia would be higher were it not for her "Worfing down". Her relationship with Worf seemed to dull her edges just a bit, unfortunately.

Tough choice. Ezri was the more interesting character, but Jadzia was more attractive.
