I've just gotten into Falling Skies..

So which show had the worse ending, Dexter or Falling Skies?

Probably Falling Skies...

Why would Dexter's ending be bad? I'm genuinely curious?

I never got into Dexter but why could it have had a bad ending?

What pisses me off about the show is the Masons. Why Hal never got shot or imprisoned for all the crap he did. Karen should have had a bullet to the head. They had a ton of chances to do this..

Stop. Just stop right there. Go no further. Do not continue. Those hours are better wasted on pretty much any thing. Go get a root canal. It'll be more enjoyable.

Pretty much much. The first two seasons are stupid fun... then it's just stupid.

Falling Skies
. Not even a contest.

Dexter's ending was depressing as HELL but it at least made logical sense in terms of the character and, you know, REALITY. There was no way in hell Dexter the man could have a happy ending. At least it wasn't predictable; I certainly didn't see it coming and yes, it made me very sad but it was believable for the world of that show. Falling Skies, in a universe with evil aliens, tech that seems to defy physics, mysterious underwater "good" aliens and fight to save humanity itself, the ending was lame, predictable and so cliched that it was laughable. It wasn't depressing because it was sad, or the end to a series; it was depressing because it was just plain stupid.

Falling Skies had potential to be good but too much meddling spoilt it. Some from suits and some from the star of the show...
