It makes me cry myself to sleep at night how many people thought that piece of shit was a great, stellar, and awesome film-making.
It's "great" that people liked it but to this extent, that it's the "best movie EVAHHHH!!!!" is just absurd and ridiculous.
THAT was the best movie last year? Seriously? Really? I mean, COME ON! What was so great about it. Beyond, "OMG!!! GIANT ROBOTS THAT TURN INTO CARS!!!!!!!!" It wasn't even well made with horrendous "acting", horrendously done action scenes and a "lead star" that makes you want to kick youself in the head.
Christ!
I give up on humanity. You're all on your own now.
Give up on humanity, what? Please! I call this win 'poetic justice' for being snubbed by the Oscars in the Special Effects category.

As for that patriotic piece of shit ID4; with Transformers I was at least able to enjoy myself, even if the CGI got a little too intense at times. With ID4, I was retching from the patriotism. Maybe chalk this win up to pissed-off Transformers fans blitzing the MTV website with their vote?
